...in a swimming pool?

shown as part of "What would it be like to live...?" at Glasgow Open House Festival 2017, Glasgow, May 2017

Elvin, Nia and Zuri (ages 6-9) were asked “what would it be like to live in a swimming pool?” in response to this idea, they pretended the world was a swimming pool and drew pictures of what life might be like. the pictures were created with water soluble wax crayons onto cast jesmonite tiles

alongside this a swimming pool installation in and around the bathtub. cast rigid foam hand floats and 'pool noodles', crayon drawn safety signs, crayon drawn lane lines on clear acrylic, tinted blue water, aluminium swimming pool ladder and welded steel and perspex lifeguard seat. installation and objects made by Maya Kincaid
